After getting my first qualification in Swedish massage in 2000, I went on to study Thai Massage, Tui Na, Deep tissue, Pregnancy, Thai Foot Massage, Indian Head Massage and  Chi Nei Tsang, learned both in Thailand and Guatemala.

 

I then discovered The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™, fertility massage with the rebozo technique and The Mercier Therapy.

Abdominal Massage can support women with fertility difficulties and anyone with digestive issues. It can also help us connect to our second brain, the belly.

​

I am still offering deep tissue massage but my emphasis is more and more on the abdominal, the seat of your body, for women, the womb being your inner compass. You can read more about that below.​​

The Mercier Therapy

The Mercier Therapy is a gynovisceral manipulation technique for women to increase blood flow, organ mobility and optimal pelvic function.

Abdominal/Sacral Fertility Massage

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy™ and of Fertility Massage are founded on the ancient Mayan techniques of abdominal massage, which are external non-invasive manipulations that reposition the internal organs that have shifted, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi.

Based on over thirty years of training and experience in massage, naprapathy, herbology, and spiritual healing, Dr. Rosita Arvigo developed these techniques which now bear her name as well as other therapists like Clare Spink who has developed her own sacral/fertility treatments. This modality incorporates a holistic approach to health care, which includes massage, anatomy and physiology, herbology, nutrition, and emotional and spiritual healing.

 

Dr. Arvigo believes that with any natural healing technique, these areas must be simultaneously addressed to promote optimal health. The abdominal/sacral fertility massage addresses position and health of the pelvic and abdominal organs. The work is best known for the correction of the prolapsed, fallen, or tilted uterus and for the prevention and treatment of benign prostate enlargement in men, and for relief of many common digestive disorders.​

I also work with castor oil which can be part of a treatment, share rituals for your self care, and offer women's circles that are held regularly to support our circle of sisterhood and create a safe space for all of us to meet with the Cacao Deva.

 sovereignty over their bodies and come to accept themselves as they are.
